As we get ready to return to work,  we have Marie & William’s really sweet wedding to share with you!  We’re big fans of Marie’s little blue jumper and white trainers! And William’s 3 day beard! It was such a laid back and beautifully thought out day, with a retro touch. Back to work, here we come!

mariage original

“To celebrate ten years together, William offered me a ring. As it was tailor-made it took some time to be manufactured. Every month we went to our favourite jeweller to approve or change each stage. Four months later, on the way back from a trek in Morocco, the ring was ready. Thinking it was too pretty to be just an anniversary ring, he asked me to marry him by offering it to me in the intimacy of our little love nest.”

mariage conseils

1 – Consider all the surprises or whims of the weather. It is very satisfying not watching the weather reports during the last 15 days to see if it was right during all of the preparations or just to find out at the last minute that you have taken a gamble that has not paid off.

2 – Let your family involve themselves as they wish; we chose not to share too many of our decisions and our desires with our loved ones. This may seem a little confusing for your family at the start, even frustrating, but then everyone finds their place and takes the time to do what you have chosen for them to do, with pleasure. And then on the big day there are surprises for everyone, and they are even bigger for your loved ones.

3 – Having your future husband present in all of the choices for the preparations, with the implication that this is normal and natural, is the best!
